Advanced graphics packages: Rapid location, identification and classification of alarms are essential in all life safety systems. Computer based emergency control systems provide information quickly in a graphical format. Location information is given via maps and text descriptions. Alarm types are displayed and can be prioritised and switched between to control different emergency procedures. Dialog boxes and links can provide additional information for dealing with problems, for example on access routes, associated hazards, critical systems near by. Large sites with multiple systems, or multiple sites, can be monitored from a single control centre. |
