| Detector Sensitivity Surveys: We can carry out on site surveys of smoke detector sensitivity levels, to establish that detectors are operating within the required parameters. This can be useful in cases after small fire incidents where occasionally the sensitivity of smoke detectors may be called into question. Normal testing will show if the device is working but will not give a true picture of the sensitivity. Comsec are equipped to perform an in-situ test that will provide an accurate reading of the sensitivity of the detector. |
| Sound Level Surveys: We carry out detailed sound level assessments. These provide an accurate reading of the audibility of fire alarm systems throughout a building. These assessments also supply the Health and Safety officer with data concerning ambient sound levels to ensure that their premises and work methods comply with the relevant legislation. |
